CNC Programmer

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced CNC Programmer to join our team at Central Employment. The successful candidate will work with Mazak CNC machines to produce precision components, often working to tight tolerances (up to 0.02mm).

In this role, you will be responsible for programming, setting, and operating Mazak CNC milling machines. You will also be required to produce high-precision parts from engineering drawings, adhering to tight tolerances, and ensure timely production to meet customer deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Produce high-precision parts from engineering drawings, adhering to tight tolerances.
• Ensure timely production to meet customer deadlines.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve technical issues and maintain product quality.
• Contribute to team activities and support continuous improvement efforts.

Requirements

• Time-served CNC Programmer with experience in Mazak programming.
• Additional experience with horizontal boring machines (Fagor controls) is beneficial.
• Strong attention to detail, with the ability to work to tight tolerances.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Package & Benefits

• Salary: £18.10 per hour, with 25% shift premium after probation.
• Pension contribution: 3% from the company.
