Early Years Educator

We are seeking a dedicated Early Years Practitioner to join our friendly team at a well-established nursery school in Washington, Tyne and Wear. The successful candidate will have a child-centered approach to education and be able to hit the ground running, ensuring children's needs are met in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
The position is a full-time, long-term opportunity starting in January 2024 and running until the end of the academic year. You will be responsible for a small group of children as their key worker, building strong relationships with children, supporting their learning, and creating a safe and nurturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Work with a key worker group to monitor, support, and track children's progress.
- Plan and implement engaging, child-led activities that support children's development across all areas of the EYFS with the support of the EYFS team.
- Build positive, trusting relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in your care.
The ideal candidate will have a Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent) and proven experience working in a nursery or early years setting, including experience of managing a key worker group.
