Job Title: Physical Education Support

GSL Education is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to support our client Primary School in Sheffield with their Physical Education department.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a Learning Mentor to assist PE teachers in planning and delivering engaging and effective PE lessons, helping with equipment setup, and ensuring that activities run smoothly.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist PE teachers in delivering high-quality PE lessons, promoting a positive attitude towards physical fitness among students.
  • Organize and supervise sports activities and events, including after-school clubs and tournaments.
  • Provide one-on-one support to students during PE classes, ensuring a safe and inclusive environment.
  • Help maintain and manage sports equipment, ensuring it is in good condition.
Requirements:
  • Strong passion for sports and physical education, with a desire to inspire and motivate students.
  • Previous experience in a similar role is an advantage, but not essential.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with teachers and students.
  • First Aid certification is desirable, but not mandatory.
