We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Secondary School Cover Supervisor to join our team at a reputable Hackney school. As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the continuity of teaching and learning, even when teachers are absent.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of educational concepts, and the ability to work effectively under pressure. Key responsibilities include:

  • Supervising whole classes during the absence of the class teacher
  • Responding to questions and assisting pupils in undertaking set activities
  • Maintaining order and dealing with any immediate problems or emergencies

The estimated salary for this role is £24-28 per hour, depending on experience.
