  • Design and Simulation: Develop and optimize photonic device designs using advanced simulation tools, ensuring compliance with industry standards and internal quality systems.
  • Prototyping and Testing: Collaborate with the fabrication team to prototype PICs, conduct hands-on testing, and analyze results to refine and improve designs.
  • Data Analysis and Interpretation: Analyze test data to identify trends, performance bottlenecks, and areas for improvement, using statistical tools and methods to validate design performance.
  • Documentation and Communication: Create and maintain detailed design documentation, including specifications, test reports, and design guidelines, ensuring clear communication with cross-functional teams.
  • Project Management and Innovation: Manage project timelines and deliverables, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget, while staying updated with the latest advancements in photonics and PIC technologies.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. in Photonics, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in photonic design software (e.g., Lumerical, Synopsys, OptiFDTD) and experience with semiconductor fabrication processes.
  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
