Job Title: Dishwasher

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Dishwasher to join our team at The Olive Cafe & Bakery. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of our work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cleaning and Sanitising: Wash, rinse, and sanitise all dishes, glassware, pots, pans, and utensils used in food preparation and service.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area and ensure that all equipment is in good working order.
  • Supporting the Culinary Team: Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, supporting the culinary team in delivering high-quality dishes.
  • Organising the Kitchen: Keep the kitchen organised by properly storing clean dishes and utensils in designated areas.
  • Waste Management: Dispose of waste and recycling appropriately to maintain a tidy work environment.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during busy service periods.
  • Health and Safety: Follow health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment for all team members.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Previous experience in a hospitality or culinary setting is preferred but not essential; we welcome candidates eager to learn.
  • Culinary Knowledge: Familiarity with kitchen operations within a hotel or restaurant environment is advantageous.
  • Work Ethic: A strong work ethic and ability to work efficiently under pressure are essential qualities for success in this role.
  • Teamwork: A willingness to help others and contribute positively to the team dynamic is highly valued.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £70.00-£90.00 per day
