Job Title: Asset Installation Engineer

Are you a skilled engineer with experience in installing and servicing compressed air equipment? Do you have a strong background in mechanical engineering and a passion for working with compressed air products? We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Asset Installation Engineer to join our team at a leading engineering supplier of compressed air products and services.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a talented engineer to join our team as an Asset Installation Engineer. As an Asset Installation Engineer, you will be responsible for installing, servicing, and maintaining compressed air equipment and downstream filtration plant. You will work on customer sites across the South UK, including Berkshire, Hampshire, Cambridgeshire, Hertfordshire, and Buckinghamshire.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Installing, servicing, and maintaining compressed air equipment and downstream filtration plant.
  • Maintaining, repairing, and installing various compressed air products, including air compressors, filtration pumps, vacuum pumps, blowers, dryers, nitrogen generators, and other compressed air products.
  • Installing and modifying compressed air pipework using a variety of materials, such as aluminium, plastic, stainless steel, and galvanized steel.
  • Liaising with various engineering departments.
Requirements:
  • Experience as an Installation Engineer, Service Engineer, Field Service Technician, Pipework Engineer, Pipefitter, or similar working with compressed air or similar products.
  • Installation experience on compressed air or relatable products, such as HVAC, hydraulics, industrial refrigeration, power generation, water pumps, vacuum systems, process cooling, heat exchangers, wind turbines, or similar. Full training is provided.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting 2D and 3D engineering drawings.
  • Mechanical engineering background is essential.
  • Engineering qualification, apprentice-trained, IPAF qualification, CSCS card is advantageous.
  • Full UK driving license.
  • This is a field-based role covering the South UK, including Berkshire, Hampshire, Cambridgeshire, Hertfordshire, and Buckinghamshire, and therefore must be willing to travel.
