About the Role

CXK is seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Skills & Employability Adviser. As a key member of our Youth Employability Service (YES), you will play a vital role in supporting young people who are not in education, employment, or training (NEET), or are at risk of becoming NEET, with their transition into post-16 provision.

Key Responsibilities
  • Liaise and Communicate with Partners: Effectively collaborate with a range of partner organizations to identify support for young people as needed.
  • Champion Opportunities and Resources: Promote opportunities and resources with the caseload and partners/stakeholders to ensure seamless referrals and continued progress for our beneficiaries.
  • Caseload Management: Maintain regular and consistent contact with young people to gain their trust, delivering effective caseload management, appropriately managing risk and safeguarding.
  • Assessment and Support Planning: Assess, action plan, and review to ensure that appropriate Information, Advice, and Guidance (IAG) planning and support is available for young people on caseload.
  • Community Support: Support young people in their local communities, including travel across the county, with a car being essential for this role.
