Join the team as a Chinnor Hill Conservation Volunteer

The Berks, Bucks and Oxon Wildlife Trust is seeking an enthusiastic volunteer to assist with the maintenance of our Chinnor Hill Site of Special Scientific Interest.

We estimate the salary for this role to be around £22,000 - £25,000 per year, based on the location and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the hillside reserve by clearing scrub and preserving ancient footpaths
  • Assist in habitat management and conservation methods under the guidance of the work party leader

Requirements:

  • Ability to commit to monthly Sunday sessions
  • Physical fitness to carry out manual tasks
  • Basic understanding of conservation principles
