About the Role

We are seeking a qualified Early Years professional to join our team as a Bank Staff Member at Bright Horizons Kirkby Day Nursery and Preschool.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support nursery colleagues in delivering the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum, engaging children in play and activities that promote their development and well-being.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to maintain a safe, happy, and healthy environment for children.
  • Promote child welfare, protection, health, and safety, and ensure compliance with safeguarding policies and procedures.
  • Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive nursery culture.
Requirements
  • Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification.
  • Previous experience working with children in a nursery or similar setting.
  • Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child.
  • Ability to use a variety of communication techniques with children and adults.
  • Sound understanding of child protection and safeguarding policies.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of the nursery.
