We are seeking an experienced Family and Systemic Therapist to join our CAMHS team in Harrow. As a key member of our multi-disciplinary team, you will provide specialist family therapy services to children and young people with mental health problems.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct family assessments and provide evidence-based interventions to support the treatment and management of children and young people's mental health problems.
- Develop and implement care plans in collaboration with the multi-disciplinary team, ensuring a comprehensive and coordinated approach to care.
- Provide advice and consultation to non-family therapy colleagues on family therapy and systemic interventions.
- Contribute to the development of policies and procedures, and participate in research and audit activities to support service improvement.
- Work autonomously within professional guidelines and the overall framework of the service's policies and procedures.
- Post-graduate family therapy training to MSc level or equivalent.
- Experience of working in a CAMHS setting, with a strong understanding of the complexities of child and adolescent mental health.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with children, young people, and their families.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to professional development and continuous learning.
