About the Role:

The Senior Cardiac Scrub Theatre Practitioner will be responsible for leading a clinical team and managing patient care during the peri-operative phase. The ideal candidate will have experience working in an acute healthcare environment and possess post-registration qualifications relevant to functional specialty.


  • Lead Clinical Team: Manage and lead a clinical team, providing guidance and support to colleagues.
  • Patient Care: Deliver high-quality patient care during the peri-operative phase, prioritizing patient safety and well-being.
  • Care Coordination: Coordinate the management and organization of care within the operating department, ensuring efficient workflow and seamless transitions.


Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:


  • Post-registration qualification relevant to functional specialty.
  • ENB 998 and/or mentorship course.
  • Approved/recognized anaesthetic course.
  • ILS certification.
  • Orthopaedic skill.
  • Mentorship qualification.
  • ILM3.


Salary and Benefits:

This role offers a competitive starting salary of up to £44,000 per annum, plus benefits including 25 days holiday per year, increasing to 30 days with service, private pension scheme, private healthcare scheme, and more.
