Job Title: Hospital Director

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Hospital Director to lead our Taunton Hospital team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving the strategic direction of the hospital, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care, and promoting a culture of excellence and innovation.

About the Role

The Hospital Director will be accountable for the overall performance of the hospital, including financial management, operational efficiency, and quality improvement. You will work closely with our clinical and non-clinical teams to develop and implement strategies that enhance patient experience, improve outcomes, and drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve hospital goals and objectives
  • Lead and manage the hospital's leadership team, ensuring effective communication and collaboration
  • Ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care, meeting or exceeding national standards and guidelines
  • Manage and develop the hospital's budget, ensuring financial sustainability and growth
  • Drive quality improvement initiatives, promoting a culture of excellence and innovation
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

Proven experience in a senior leadership role, preferably in a healthcare settingStrong strategic and operational management skills, with the ability to drive change and improvementExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholdersAbility to work collaboratively as part of a team, promoting a culture of excellence and innovationWhat We Offer
