Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Associate Consultant to join our team at Hitachi Energy UK Limited. As a Power Systems Consultant, you will play a crucial role in developing advisory projects for major electricity sector agents, helping them navigate regulatory, economic, and electricity challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify opportunities for new and repeating consulting business, building an internal and external network for the exchange of information.
  • Propose research & development projects, including scope of budget, supporting project management strategy, and following up on new products/solutions.
  • Conduct risk and opportunities assessments, ensuring delivery of the assignment as per the agreed contract.
  • Work on consulting assignments using established standards, methods, and technologies to develop solutions and resolve issues.
  • Generate consulting deliverables, such as proposals and sales materials.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in electrical engineering, electrical power systems, or similar.
  • Advanced degrees preferred (Masters, PhD, MBA).
  • Confidence in identifying opportunities for new and repeating consulting business.
  • Written and oral fluency in English.
