Private Client Tax Manager Opportunity

Pro Talent is seeking an ambitious individual to join our Private Client Tax team in Bury St Edmunds as a Manager or Director, subject to experience. The successful candidate will have significant previous Private Client Tax experience and will be responsible for heading up the Private Client Tax team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a portfolio of private clients, including high net worth individuals and families, business owners, company directors, land and property owners, entrepreneurs, retirees, and family trusts.
  • Review self-assessment tax returns completed by other staff and provide guidance on all aspects of Personal Tax compliance work within a professional services environment.
  • Develop and implement tax planning strategies for clients, including Capital Gains Tax planning, Remuneration planning, IR35, Trusts/IHT, P11D, and Property income.
  • Work closely with the Partners and the rest of the team across the region to deliver exceptional client service.
  • Build and develop a team of tax professionals, providing guidance and support as needed.
Requirements:
  • High level of ICT literacy.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Self-motivated, hard-working, flexible, and prepared to undertake some travel within East Anglia.
