Area Sales Representative

Are you looking for a challenging sales opportunity that allows you to work independently and build strong relationships with customers? As a Sales Development Manager at Travis Perkins, you will be responsible for reactivating dormant accounts, finding new business opportunities, and coordinating pricing and account development.
As a key member of our sales team, you will play a crucial role in driving sales growth and supporting our branches. You will be responsible for:
- Reactivating dormant and low-spending accounts, and finding new business opportunities in your allocated area.
- Coordinating all aspects of pricing and account development.
- Regularly meeting customers face-to-face to build long-lasting relationships and develop new sales opportunities.
- Maximizing and achieving sales and profit targets from your allocated existing customers and new business.
- Working with your Regional Sales Manager to identify your development needs and build a plan to ensure you are achieving your best.
We are looking for a self-driven individual with a passion for sales, customer service, and initiative. Previous experience within merchanting is advantageous, but we will provide the necessary training and support to ensure your success. You will be visiting customers, project sites, and branches every day, so a full UK driving licence with over a year's driving experience is essential.
