Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Finance Assistant to join our high-performing finance function. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for updating internal trackers, monitoring asset accounts, coordinating office duties, and assisting with financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Update internal trackers to ensure seamless operation of financial processes.
  • Monitor asset accounts to identify potential discrepancies and take corrective action.
  • Assist in preparing monthly management reports and EOY Management Accounts.
  • Coordinate office duties, including social events and audits.
  • Complete daily bank reconciliations and participate in month-end reconciliations and account sweeps.
  • Investigate discrepancies in client money reconciliations and liaise with Payments and back-office teams.
  • Manage financial administration, including invoicing and creating dashboards and insight reports.
Requirements and Skills
  • At least 2 years of experience as a Finance Assistant.
  • Advanced knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping procedures.
  • Expertise in MS Excel/Google Sheets (creating spreadsheets and using financial functions).
  • Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., Xero).
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to spot numerical errors.
Salary Information

The estimated salary range for this position is between £28,000-£35,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
