About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Centre Engineer to join our team at Verelogic IT Recruitment. As a Data Centre Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our data centre facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the implementation of best practices and methodologies to ensure rigorous and effective maintenance regimes are performed and maintained.
  • Provide data reporting to facilities management teams to ensure seamless operations.
  • Collaborate with incident, problem, and change teams to ensure successful data centre infrastructure changes.
  • Build relationships with suppliers to stay up-to-date on the latest M+E technology improvements.
Requirements
  • Demonstrable knowledge of CRAC units, chilled water systems, pumps, and chillers.
  • Hands-on operational experience with Schneider UPS systems (Symmetra).
  • Experience in operating HV generator sets.
  • Understanding of power management, BMS systems, or similar applications.
  • Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills.
  • T3 data centre service delivery experience.
  • Electrical engineer 18th edition qualified.
