We are currently seeking a seasoned professional for a Senior Electrical Contracts Specialist position in Newark, CV Library. This role offers a salary of approximately £45,000 per annum, based on a 5-hour workweek from Monday to Thursday, 08:00 a.m.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Review and analyze project documents to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  2. Visit sites, conduct surveys, and participate in client and consultant meetings to ensure seamless collaboration.
  3. Develop innovative solutions to optimize project outcomes through value engineering.
  4. Work closely with the mechanical department during M&E tender submissions.
  5. Examine and scrutinize sub-contract quotations for potential issues.
  6. Manage and coordinate sub-contract packages to achieve project goals.
  7. Identify and report potential project risks and opportunities for mitigation.
  8. Purchase materials and plant while focusing on cost efficiency and accurate costing of contract changes or variations.
  9. Monitor site progress reports, provide support in resolving queries and disputes, and contribute to business development initiatives.

The ideal candidate will possess at least five years' experience in electrical project management, estimating, or design, with a proven ability to build strong relationships with customers and consultants. You should have experience managing projects for diverse clients and have knowledge of contract law, including the Construction Act 1996 and H&S/CDM Regulations & Requirements.

A prerequisite for this role is holding an 18th Edition IET BS7671 certification and a full clean driving license.
