Job Requirements

We are seeking a Quality Control Director to lead and manage the quality control processes for our project lifecycles within the energy sector.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have experience in leading quality control teams and managing complex projects, including design control, quality systems, and regulatory requirements.

  1. Quality Control Leadership: Lead a team of Quality Control Engineers, ensuring quality control for multiple projects from outline design through to completion.
  2. Design Control Management: Oversee the design control process from concept to completion, ensuring all design inputs, outputs, risk management, verification, and validation meet regulatory requirements.
  3. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, commercial, and delivery teams to implement design controls and quality standards effectively.
  4. Design Reviews & Audits: Collaborate with quality and auditing teams to organize and facilitate design reviews, ensuring compliance with quality and regulatory standards and addressing corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs) as needed.
About You

As a Quality Control Director, you will have a proven track record in leading quality control teams and managing complex projects. You should have strong knowledge of regulatory standards and industry guidelines.

  1. Qualifications: Ideally, you hold a degree in Engineering or a related field and are either Chartered or working towards Chartered status.
  2. Skills: Excellent leadership and communication skills, with a passion for continuous improvement and quality assurance.

Estimated salary: £100,000 - £120,000 per annum depending on location and experience.
