**Job Overview:**

 

We are looking for a skilled and empathetic In-Home Companion Assistant to join our team at Home Instead. This role involves traveling to clients' homes, building strong relationships, and providing personalized care and support.

 

About You:

 

  • You must be reliable, punctual, and have good flexibility including alternate weekends.
  • A valid driving licence and dependable transport are essential.
  • You should be a UK resident, as we cannot provide working visas.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary to build strong relationships with clients.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Visit clients in their homes, providing support according to their care plans and wishes.
  • Foster meaningful relationships with clients, promoting a sense of wellbeing and companionship.
  • Support with daily living tasks, such as meal preparation and household chores.
  • Respect clients' dignity while assisting with personal care tasks.

  • Earn £13.40-14.40 per hour (doubled on bank holidays) plus 35p/mile mileage reimbursement.

We estimate that this role earns around £28,000 per annum, based on a 20-hour working week.
