E3recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Chemical Plant Operations Specialist to join their globally leading Chemical company in the Blackpool area. This permanent role offers a competitive salary of £48,000 – £62,000 per annum, supported by a comprehensive benefits package.

The successful candidate will be part of one of the world's largest chemical manufacturers, striving to bring transformational and sustainable solutions to various industries. As a key member of the team, you will support the Manufacturing Leader in delivering the production plan, ensuring risks are assessed and impacts are managed to meet targets.

Key responsibilities include driving SHE performance, identifying deviations for resolution through root cause analysis, owning OEE data, and coaching shift teams on safety, quality, delivery, costs, and performance. You will also support the implementation of continuous improvement opportunities in the Management System.

We are looking for a motivated individual with a good understanding of all processes, equipment, and management systems, as well as experience in CI methodologies. Chemical or Process discipline is preferred.

Responsibilities:
  1. Drive SHE Performance: Coach and influence shift teams to achieve value stream SHE strategy and objectives.
  2. Identify Deviations and Resolve: Use root cause analysis (RCA) to identify and resolve deviations, including Accident/Incident Management (AIMS) events & corrective action reports (CAR's).
  3. OEE Data Ownership: Own OEE data, create mechanisms for operator engagement, and undertake technical evaluation within the production environment for management of change submissions.
  4. Coach Shift Teams: Coach shift teams on safety, quality, delivery, costs, and performance, and support with customer complaints.
  5. Support Manufacturing Leader: Support the Manufacturing Leader in driving efficiencies in business-as-usual operations and identifying continuous improvement opportunities in the Management System.
