Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate individual to join our Assessment team at Middlesbrough Council. As a Counselor, you will play a vital role in conducting comprehensive initial assessments for new clients entering our substance use services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough assessments to identify client needs and develop personalized support plans
  • Build strong relationships with clients, families, and other stakeholders to ensure effective support and care
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share knowledge, best practices, and resources to enhance client outcomes

A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle are required for this role. You will also need business insurance prior to commencing in post if you do not have this already.
