We're seeking a talented Chef de Partie to join our team at Delta Hotels by Marriott Breadsall Priory Country Club.
About the Role
As a Chef de Partie, you will be responsible for preparing fresh ingredients, cooking menu items to perfection, and ensuring the highest standards of food quality and presentation. You will work closely with our dedicated team of experts to create new seasonal menus and unique presentations that exceed our guests' expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare fresh ingredients for cooking according to recipes/menu
- Cook food and prepare top-quality menu items in a timely manner
- Test foods to ensure proper preparation and temperature
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and responsibly
- Ensure the proper sanitation and cleanliness of surfaces and storage containers
- Support, train, and develop commis chefs in the team
- Use your creative flair and attention to detail to create dishes that put smiles on faces
What We're Looking For
We're seeking a candidate with great teamwork skills, attention to detail, and a positive outlook. Previous kitchen experience is essential, and a Level 3 cookery qualification is preferred. We're happy to fund your training to achieve this qualification if needed.
