Manufacturing Team Lead

About the Role:
- As a 2nd line leader, you will be responsible for managing and developing your direct management team, ensuring the smooth operation of the manufacturing unit and maintaining regulatory compliance.
- You will be accountable for delivering quality and compliant product on time, in full, and cost-effectively, while optimizing productivity and driving a culture of continuous improvement.
- You will facilitate the optimization of the production area by directing support staff, including leads, engineering, schedulers, QA, and technical teams.
- You will be responsible for monitoring and ensuring the overall quality of the product and documentation produced by the manufacturing unit.
- You will ensure compliance with EHS regulations and Abbott standards by adhering to and maintaining EHS systems, programs, and procedures.
- You will support and drive rapid and compliant transfer/start-up of new products and processes in the manufacturing unit.
About You:
- You will have completed secondary-level education and have exposure to operations/manufacturing environments, including working knowledge of GMP, technical, and quality requirements.
- You will be a natural people leader with a desire to gain experience in a 2nd line management position.
- You will have experience in developing, mentoring, and coaching your team to support employee growth and career development.
- You will bring strong communication skills, an engaging and motivating style, and a desire for change and continuous improvement.
