We are seeking a highly skilled Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Service/Breakdown Engineer to join our team at Building Careers UK. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing commercial and industrial refrigeration and air conditioning systems.

Job Summary

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled and experienced refrigeration and air conditioning engineer to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for:

  • Conducting planned maintenance checks to identify potential issues
  • Servicing and repairing commercial and industrial refrigeration and air conditioning systems
  • Diagnosing and resolving breakdowns efficiently
  • Installing and commissioning new refrigeration and air conditioning units

To be successful in this role, you will need:

Requirements
  • A minimum of 10 years' relevant experience in refrigeration and air conditioning maintenance and repair
  • F-Gas Certification (e.g., City & Guilds 2079 or CITB)
  • NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning
  • City & Guilds 2079 Award in F-Gas and ODS Regulations
  • Experience working with hydrocarbon refrigerants
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (desirable)
  • CSCS Card (desirable for site work)
  • Full UK Driving License
