Exciting Opportunity in Packaging Sales

An exceptional chance has arisen to join a leading packaging distribution business, serving the beverage, food, personal care, pharmaceutical, household care, and industrial markets.

This role will focus on the spirits market, involving a mix of new business and account management in the Southwest, requiring travel due to the nature of the role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a portfolio of 40-60 customers, generating £4,000,000 - £5,000,000 in revenue.
  • Visit a major account weekly to understand their needs and requirements.
  • Develop new business opportunities and build on successes.
  • Nurture existing accounts and improve gross margins.
  • Conduct weekly reports on customer visits, pipeline, sales projections, and provide excellent communication channels.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 3-6 years of experience in packaging and the stated markets.
  • Experience in setting short, medium, and long-term new business targets and a strategic approach to the role.
  • Ability to manage a portfolio of £3,000,000 - £5,000,000 and hit sales targets of £250,000 - £500,000.
  • Strong understanding of the UK market and a sense of business relationships and customer service.

This role offers a salary reflecting experience, a 5k car allowance, commission paid at 2% of sales, 25 days holiday+ bank plus the opportunity to buy/sell 5 more, health cash plan, perk box, 4% Pension, cycle to work scheme, laptop, and phone.
