Job Title: Engineer Surveyor

We are seeking an experienced Engineer Surveyor to join our team in Birmingham/Bromsgrove. As an Engineer Surveyor, you will be responsible for carrying out hands-on statutory inspections, providing expert opinions on a wide range of equipment, and ensuring our clients comply with relevant legislation.

About the Role

You will work in a variety of interesting environments, have control over your work-life balance, and develop your mechanical engineering skills further. Our Engineer Surveyor roles allow you to work for a market-leading engineering inspection provider and be part of a multi-disciplined inspection team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out hands-on statutory inspections of equipment
  • Provide expert opinions on a wide range of equipment
  • Ensure clients comply with relevant legislation
  • Report back using a rugged laptop and issue electronically to clients
Requirements
  • Either a time served or Modern Apprenticeship
  • Hands-on experience in a relevant engineering discipline
  • A background in working with lifts and/or crane equipment would be an advantage
  • A full valid UK driving licence
  • Be willing and able to work paid overtime
