About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Ecologist to join our team as a Consultant or Senior Ecologist. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering protected species surveys and biodiversity net gain consultancy to clients.

You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, including ecological assessments and protected species surveys. Your expertise will be valued and respected, and you will be given the autonomy to manage your own workload.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver protected species surveys and biodiversity net gain consultancy to clients
  • Conduct ecological assessments and protected species surveys
  • Work with clients to balance their development ambitions with the protection of natural capital

About You:

  • You have minimum 2+ full years of UK ecology consultancy experience, conducting protected species surveys, ecological assessments, and PEAs
  • You're confident using UKHabs
  • You're energetic, organised, and detail-oriented, with an eagerness to learn
  • You hold a full UK driving license
  • Hold one or more protected species licenses and have QGIS or BNG experience (not essential but VERY advantageous)
  • Have existing eligibility to live and work in the UK, and are based in: Devon, Oxfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Norfolk, London, Essex, Lancashire, Midlands or Yorkshire
