About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our Northumberland and North Tyneside Universal Crisis Team at St Georges Park Hospital. As a key member of our team, you will provide clinical leadership, supervision, and training to support the delivery of high-quality care to individuals in crisis.

The successful candidate will work closely with the service's collective leadership team and wider partners to drive forward strategic developments within the North locality. This includes contributing to the development of nursing practice, driving innovation, and enhancing patient outcomes.

With a strong background in therapeutic interventions and experience working with adults experiencing mental health difficulties, you will be confident in your ability to lead and manage complex cases within a dynamic clinical environment.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide expert clinical guidance and supervision to team members.
  • Contribute to the development of nursing strategy and practice within the North clinical business unit.
  • Collaborate with the Nurse Consultant on nursing developments within the specialist area of practice.
Requirements
  • First-level registered nurse qualification (RNMH, RMN, RNLD).
  • Postgraduate qualification or recognized teaching qualification.
  • Evidence of continuous professional development.
  • Experience in therapeutic interventions relevant to working with enduring mental health problems.
Salary and Benefits

The salary for this role is approximately £52,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits, including opportunities for professional development and a comprehensive pension scheme.
