About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Sales Assistant to join our team at the British Heart Foundation. As a Sales Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and contributing to the success of our retail operation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Engage with customers, providing a first-class service experience and promoting our charity's mission
  • Organise and merchandise donated stock creatively to maximise sales potential
  • Collaborate with our E-Commerce team to drive online sales and growth
  • As a Keyholder, you will be the go-to person when there isn't a manager on duty, ensuring the store runs smoothly and customers have a great experience
What We're Looking For
  • A passion for delivering exceptional customer service and a commitment to our charity's mission
  • Previous retail experience is not essential, but a positive attitude, energy, and ability to work well in a team environment are essential
  • Confidence in guiding the activity of volunteers on the shop floor and working well under pressure
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards
  • Able to work flexibly, including weekends and bank holidays, and be comfortable with technology, including tills, PCs, and smartphones
