We are seeking an experienced Chief Technology Officer to join our team in the UK. This is a unique opportunity to lead our technology function and drive innovation in our organization.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive technology strategy that aligns with the company's business objectives. This includes creating and maintaining technology roadmaps, leading the technology function, and collaborating with other departments to integrate technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a technology strategy that supports the company's business objectives
  • Create and maintain technology roadmaps to outline future plans and vision
  • Lead the technology function and foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement
  • Collaborate with other departments to integrate technology solutions and enhance data-driven decision-making and digital experiences
  • Direct technology governance, risk, and compliance to ensure adequate protection against operational risk and business continuity
  • Direct technology projects and workstreams within wider business programmes, working closely with colleagues to deliver on time, within scope, and on budget
  • Oversee agile-based delivery methods and flow-based models as required
  • Manage the organization's infrastructure and applications to support current operations and future growth
  • Oversee robust security measures to protect company data and mitigate risks, ensuring policy, control, and compliance across the technology landscape
  • Ensure technology continuity/disaster recovery capability in line with the business continuity plan

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a senior technology leadership role, preferably in a similar-sized organization
  • Strong strategic and operational planning abilities, with a track record of developing and executing technology strategies
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse technology team
  • Experience of technology/engineering delivery models, including waterfall and agile methods, toolsets, and skillsets
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, capable of engaging with executive-level leaders, peers, and cross-functional teams
