About the Role

We are seeking a talented and motivated individual to join our Community Fundraising team as a Local Fundraising Ambassador. This exciting opportunity will allow you to make a real difference in your local community while developing your fundraising skills.

Job Description

The role of the Local Fundraising Ambassador is to support our Fundraising Team in raising awareness in local communities and helping our supporters to raise vital funds for NI Hospice. The impact of this role will help NI Hospice to reach and support more people within our community who need our care and support.

About NI Hospice

NI Hospice is a leading provider of specialist care to individuals and families affected by serious illness. Our dedicated team provides life-changing care to those in need, and we rely on the generosity of our supporters to continue our work.

Your Responsibilities

  • Supporting our local Community Fundraiser in engaging with new and existing supporters in your community.
  • Representing NI Hospice at local events, receiving cheque presentations on behalf of NI Hospice, and helping with bucket collections.
  • Assisting the Community Fundraiser in building NI Hospice brand and supporting local fundraisers to raise vital funds in the community.
  • Inspiring local fundraisers to understand NI Hospice and raise awareness of the service they provide in the local community and across NI.

Requirements

We are looking for an individual who:

Has a passion for NI Hospice and making a difference in their local community.Is interested in fundraising for NI Hospice and raising awareness of the services we provide to the community.Can commit to a time commitment of 6-12 months with a flexible approach to hours, including evenings and weekends (approximately 3-5 hours per week).Has access to online learning and development opportunities.Is willing to be part of a dynamic team that makes a real difference in the lives of others.

Salary: £15,000 - £22,000 per annum

This estimate is based on the national average salary for a similar role in Northern Ireland.
