Job Role: Nursery Assistant

As a Nursery Assistant, you will be responsible for providing day-to-day cover and short- or long-term placements within nurseries across the local area. This is a fantastic opportunity to enhance your knowledge and experience further.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring the safety, happiness, and stimulation of children
  • Communicating with children using play-based methods
  • Encouraging children's development and creating a child-friendly environment
  • Maintaining toys and play equipment, and keeping accurate records

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working in a nursery or childcare setting
  • NVQ level 2/3 Childcare and Education, or equivalent
