As a veterinary surgeon with Highland Vet Emergencies, you will be part of a new and exciting opportunity to provide advanced emergency services in the Highlands of Scotland.
The role involves contributing to the first 24/7 service in the region, while enjoying an unparalleled work-life balance. You will be the first point of contact for local practices and assist in the overnight management of elective surgical referral patients.
We offer a comprehensive range of equipment, including onsite CT, Ultrasound, DR X-ray, and a full Idexx lab suite. This enables us to provide a high level of care to our patients.
This is a new role, allowing the team to shape processes and procedures from the start. You will work closely with a veterinary nurse on shifts, with reception cover until late. As the service grows, we plan to add more team members to ensure a sustainable workload.
A Work Pattern That Offers FlexibilityOur shift pattern averages 26 hours per week over a 4-week rolling rota. Weeks 1 and 2 comprise 2-3 shifts on followed by 2-3 shifts off. Weeks 3 and 4 are then full weeks off, providing an excellent work-life balance. We consider flexibility requests to support team wellbeing.
Benefits and Support- £45,000 - £60,000 salary
