Automotive Inspector

We are seeking an experienced Automotive Inspector to join our team at Halfords. As a Vehicle Quality Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of vehicle quality and safety.
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of automotive systems and be able to identify defects and irregularities. A keen eye for detail and excellent analytical skills are essential for this role.
In this exciting opportunity, you will have the chance to work with a range of vehicle makes and models, and contribute to the development of our MoT testing processes.
Key responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough vehicle inspections to identify defects and irregularities.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of automotive systems and technologies.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to improve our MoT testing processes and standards.
- Provide expert advice and guidance to colleagues on vehicle quality and safety matters.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of automotive systems and technologies.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues.
- £33,000 - £38,000 per annum, with an average uncapped bonus of £5,800 per year.
