Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cleaning Assistant to join our team at Stirling Council. As a Cleaning Assistant, you will be responsible for delivering a high-quality cleaning service to our Bridge of Allan Nursery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver a cleaning service to the nursery, including key-holding and support to the nursery community.
  • Work independently to clean surfaces to head height and use cleaning machinery, including electric buffing machines, scrubber dryers, and vacuum cleaners.
  • Be capable of lifting heavy items and working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Provide a high level of customer service and maintain a clean and safe working environment.

Requirements

  • Basic working IT knowledge and willingness to undertake training to use Stirling Council's online training and human resources IT applications.
  • Personal protective equipment, tools, and training will be provided.
  • Membership of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups Scheme (PVG) for Children.
