Production Technician with a Focus on Quality and Efficiency

The ideal candidate for this role will have good electrical and mechanical maintenance skills, experience within a production environment, and a proven track record of hands-on experience. A minimum NVQ L3 or equivalent time-served engineering apprenticeship is required, along with computer literacy and strong diagnostic skills.
In addition to these essential qualifications, we prefer candidates with experience within a FMCG or high-volume continuous production environment, leadership and coaching skills, and working knowledge of PLC systems (Allen Bradley and/or Siemens), CMMS, and SCADA systems.
As a Maintenance Engineer with Electrical and Mechanical Expertise, you will be responsible for:
- Providing technical expertise for Electrical and Mechanical maintenance of plant equipment
- Carrying out reactive and preventative maintenance tasks
- Monitoring maintenance activities, routines, and procedures for accuracy, effectiveness, and completion
- Reviewing production targets and priorities, balancing lines to meet them with minimal waste
- Acting as the effective link between Operations & Engineering
