Senior Financial Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Analyst to join our team at Tate. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and success.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the preparation of annual budgets and periodic re-forecasts, ensuring accurate financial projections and informed decision-making.
- Oversee the end-to-end monthly financial close process, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Present financial variances and insights to executive management, providing actionable recommendations for improvement.
- Prepare monthly Accounts Review packs and present month-end results to the management team, highlighting key financial trends and areas for attention.
- Conduct monthly expense review meetings with budget holders, ensuring expenses are aligned with budget and forecast, and challenging commitments when necessary.
- Participate in the annual external audit process, preparing necessary documentation and data to ensure a smooth audit process.
- Support the preparation of management papers and conduct reviews, providing expert financial analysis and insights.
- Prepare costing proposals for quarterly campaigns, ensuring accurate financial modeling and analysis.
- Engage in pricing decisions, producing profit analysis and recommendations to inform business strategy.
- Review the effectiveness of systems and processes, making recommendations for future developments and improvements.
- Support Finance Analysts, acting as a role model and providing guidance and feedback to aid their professional development.
- Provide support and cover to the Management Accountants and the wider department as required.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
- Knowledge, understanding, or exposure to core principles of accounting, including financial reporting and analysis.
- Part-qualified ACA / ACCA / CIMA, with a strong understanding of financial management and analysis.
- Management accounting experience, with a proven track record of driving business growth and success.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Packages, notably Excel, with advanced skills in financial modeling and analysis.
