Drama Instructor

We are seeking a highly skilled Drama Instructor to join Veritas Education Recruitment's team in East Lancashire. This is a full-time role with an estimated salary of £35,000-£45,000 per year. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Drama to Key Stage 3 and 4 students at a high school.

The ideal candidate will have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification and excellent subject knowledge to deliver engaging and interactive lessons that meet the needs of all learners.

Key responsibilities include:

• Plan and deliver engaging Drama lessons to Key Stage 3 and 4 students, following the school's curriculum and assessment guidelines
• Create a positive and supportive learning environment that fosters students' academic, social, and emotional development
• Develop and implement strategies to support students with different learning styles and abilities, including those with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND)

The selected candidate will also participate in extra-curricular activities, such as after-school clubs and school events, as required. A commitment to continuous professional development is essential for this role.
