About the Role:

This exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Learning Programme Coordinator to join our team at National Museum Directors' Council. As a key member of the team, you will play a vital role in delivering our education programme for primary, secondary, and SEND schools.

Responsibilities:

  1. Coordinate the delivery of the education programme, ensuring that it is of the highest quality and that key objectives are met.
  2. Work closely with the Formal Learning Producer and the John Lyon's Charity SEND Producer to deliver live sessions, including co-hosting sessions online and scheduling sessions onsite.
  3. Support the delivery of accessible family programming during holidays, half-terms, and occasional weekends.
  4. Develop knowledge of the Collection to deliver engaging and pedagogically robust learning sessions for primary and secondary schools.
  5. Provide effective scheduling and resource allocation for the programme, including the allocation of booked sessions to freelance educators.
  6. Collate and prepare relevant KPIs and statistical data, and maintain administrative systems to ensure effective recordkeeping.
  7. Coordinate the programme's resources, ensuring that the Studio and Cloakroom are well-stocked and maintained.
  8. Record budgetary spend and maintain accurate invoice and payment records.
  9. Work with Communications colleagues to promote the programme through the website and other promotional channels.
  10. Ensure proactive compliance with the Collection's Safeguarding and H&S policies.
