We are seeking a skilled Clinical Assessor to join our team at Aspect Healthcare. As a Disability Benefits Assessor, you will play a vital role in assessing individuals with a range of physical and mental health conditions to determine their eligibility for the Personal Independence Payment (PIP) benefit scheme.
About the Role:
As a Disability Assessor, you will be responsible for conducting thorough, holistic assessments with clients to understand the impact of their health conditions on their daily lives. You will work in an office-style environment, completing assessments over the phone, via video, or face-to-face. Your excellent communication skills and ability to interpret medical evidence will be essential in gathering findings and writing comprehensive reports to support the decision-making process by the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP).
Requirements:
We are looking for experienced Nurses, Physios, Paramedics, or Occupational Therapists who possess a strong clinical background and excellent communication skills. You will need to have at least one year of post-registration experience and be registered with the NMC or HCPC. A proactive and keen-to-learn approach, along with the ability to work autonomously, is essential for this role.
