About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Solutions Architect to join our team at Leeds Building Society. As a key member of our technology team, you will play a critical role in designing and implementing our cloud-based enterprise integration platform.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop a cloud-based enterprise integration platform that meets the business requirements and aligns with our strategic vision and principles.
  • Work closely with other architects, developers, testers, business analysts, and stakeholders to ensure the platform is built according to best practices and standards.
  • Provide guidance and support to delivery teams throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize business requirements and technical solutions.

Requirements

  • Proven track record of delivering complex and large-scale enterprise integration solutions using cloud technologies (such as Azure, AWS, or GCP).
  • Deep understanding of integration patterns, protocols, standards, and technologies (such as RESTful APIs, SOAP, XML, JSON, MQ, ESB, ETL, etc.).
  • Strong knowledge of cloud security, governance, and compliance ideally within a financial services domain.
  • Solid experience of working with agile methodologies (such as Scrum or Kanban) and DevOps tools (such as Jenkins, Git, Terraform, etc.).
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Relevant certification or qualification in cloud architecture or integration (such as TOGAF or Azure Integration Architect).
