Job Details

We are seeking a qualified Geography Teacher to work in Sandwich, Kent. This role offers the chance to engage and inspire students, encouraging them to explore the world and develop their understanding of geographical concepts.

About the Job

The ideal candidate will have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification and proven experience teaching Geography at secondary level. They will possess strong subject knowledge and a creative approach to lesson planning, as well as excellent communication and classroom management skills.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging and dynamic lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (with KS5 teaching an advantage)
  • Foster a love of learning and curiosity about the world in your students
  • Monitor and track student progress, adapting teaching methods to suit individual needs
  • Collaborate with staff to create a supportive and forward-thinking learning environment
  • Inspire students to see the relevance of Geography in their everyday lives and future careers
What We Offer
