Procurement Specialist

The Salary for this role is estimated at £60,000-£80,000 per annum.
We are seeking a Procurement Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our procurement function, you will be responsible for developing and delivering procurement strategies for a defined category of spend, covering direct and/or indirect materials, components, assemblies, and services.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and implementing procurement strategies to leverage competitive advantage and best-in-class performance from strategic suppliers.
- Managing supplier relationships and contracting arrangements.
- Analyzing data to inform procurement decisions and drive business improvement.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Recognized procurement professional experience (min 4+ years) in a Consumables and Fasteners environment.
- Experience within the Rail industry (Infrastructure / Rolling Stock) with good knowledge of the supplier market place & associated approvals requirements.
- Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
