Newport, Newport, United Kingdom S&You Full time

**About the Role**

S&You is driving a major end-to-end digital transformation, integrating cutting-edge technologies while maintaining live services. As a Digital Transformation Delivery Lead, you will oversee the effective delivery of new and ongoing products and services, working with a cross-functional team including Developers, Test Engineers, Product Managers, Technical Architects, and more.

Your key responsibility will be ensuring the timely and efficient delivery of systems from backlog to production, using Agile methodologies. You will be focused on continually improving delivery processes, advocating for Agile best practices, and providing value to both internal and external users.

You will play an active role in a wider Delivery Manager Community of Practice, sharing knowledge and driving best practices forward within the team and the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead cross-functional Agile teams, delivering products and services with a focus on speed and quality.
  • Collaborate with a diverse team to manage and convert extensive backlogs into production-ready systems.
  • Drive continuous improvement in Agile practices, ensuring value delivery to users.
  • Influence and support professional development across your squad and the broader Delivery Manager community.
  • Effectively communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders, managing priorities and expectations.
  • Provide accurate, timely updates on progress, resources, and impediments to support decision-making.
  • Empower teams to develop technical and personal skills while adapting to new technologies.

Required Experience & Skills:

You will need proven experience as a Delivery Manager or Scrum Master, managing cross-functional Agile teams. In-depth knowledge of Agile methodologies, such as Scrum, Kanban, and DevOps, is essential. Experience leading teams in delivering componentised solutions as part of broader programmes is also required.

Strong communication skills, with the ability to manage diverse stakeholders and navigate political boundaries, are crucial. Proficiency in tools such as Azure DevOps and Project Online is desirable. Experience with automated delivery methodologies, including automated pipelines and testing, is also beneficial.

A relevant Scrum Master or Agile Project Manager qualification is highly desirable.

Working Environment:

This role follows a hybrid working model, with at least 20% of your time required on-site at our office. We offer flexibility and encourage candidates to discuss working arrangements with the hiring manager to find the right balance between remote work and office-based days.

About Us:

S&You is an employment agency for permanent recruitment. If you have a passion for Agile delivery and want to play a key role in driving digital transformation, we'd love to hear from you.

Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
