Biomedical Scientist Trainee Position

Job Summary
North West London Pathology is a leading provider of diagnostic services, and we are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Trainee Biomedical Scientist to join our Electron Microscopy Unit. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing a high-quality diagnostic service to patients and external users.
Main Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for specimen reception, including data entry onto our Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS), sample preparation, embedding, and sectioning. They will also be responsible for archiving slides, blocks, and reports, as well as document control.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a good understanding of laboratory procedures and a strong attention to detail. You will also need to be able to work effectively in a team environment and communicate complex information to colleagues and patients.
