Remote SOC Security Specialist

Defence is an innovative and expanding cybersecurity specialist that requires a highly skilled Remote SOC Security Specialist to support our growth.
About the Job:
- This full-time position involves working on a rotating shift pattern (circa 37.5 hours per week) with ad-hoc night shifts, requiring flexibility and organisational skills.
- As a Tier I SOC Analyst, you will help maintain and protect client business assets from threats and risks by monitoring, detecting, analysing, and responding to security incidents.
- You will collaborate with senior SOC analysts and other cybersecurity stakeholders to mitigate and remediate security threats.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Computer Networks, Information Security, or related technical discipline.
- Previous experience in IT Helpdesk, IT Support, or SOC roles, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with SIEM technologies, firewalls, and IDS/IPS technologies is desirable.
