- Assist in implementing behaviour support plans, ensuring consistency and effectiveness in managing challenging behaviours.
- Offer one-on-one or small group support to students with behavioural challenges, helping them understand and manage their emotions and behaviours.
- Foster a positive learning environment by promoting and reinforcing positive behaviour and social skills among students.
- Work collaboratively with teaching staff and external professionals to develop and review behaviour intervention strategies.
- Monitor student behaviour and progress, maintaining accurate records and providing feedback as necessary.
Requirements:
- Experience working with students with behavioural challenges in an educational setting.
- Understanding of behaviour management techniques and strategies.
- Empathy, patience, and resilience to support students in managing their behaviour and emotions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with students, staff, and parents/guardians.
