About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Power Platform Developer to join our team at Sword Group. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and implementing innovative business solutions using Microsoft Power Platform, Azure, and Microsoft 365.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in the design, development, and implementation of Power Platform solutions for clients, working closely with our experienced team to deliver high-quality results.
  • Develop integrated applications and solutions to automate and enhance business processes using Power Platform, Azure, and Microsoft 365.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to build knowledge, experience, and understanding of new and existing solutions, driving innovation and growth within the team.
  • Deploy tools, processes, and metrics to aid the development and performance management of future solutions, ensuring seamless delivery and support.
  • Engage with stakeholders to gather technical requirements, architect solutions, and execute on deliverables, ensuring client satisfaction and success.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate a strong understanding of the following key fundamentals:

  • Expertise in Power Platform, including Power Apps (model-driven apps and canvas apps), Power Automate, and Microsoft Dataverse.
  • Proven ability to create professional Power Apps for business users with attractive interfaces, associated views, forms, business rules, relationships, and process flows, incorporating user authentication, data validation, and visualization.
  • Good understanding of the software development lifecycle, including analysis, design, development, and testing.
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 and component/supporting technologies, including SharePoint, Forms, and Teams.
  • Experience integrating Power Apps solutions with Microsoft products, APIs, or third-party solutions.
  • Experience building proof of concept and demos.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Passion for technology and a desire to learn.
  • Experience in customer-facing roles is highly desirable.
Desirable Skills

The following skills are highly desirable but not mandatory:

  • Experience with Power Apps Portals / Power Pages.
  • Experience in Agile delivery using Azure DevOps.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps (or similar tools) for CI/CD and backlog/progress tracking.
  • Experience with.Net Development (C#, MVC) / Dynamics 365 / Azure PaaS (Logic Apps, Functions).
  • Experience working with testing strategies and tools for Power Platform solutions.
  • Experience in a consultancy role.
